Salwa Kamal Mohamed HassanDr. Salwa Kamal Mohamed Hassan is a Professor of Air Pollution Chemistry in Air Pollution Research Department at the Environment and Climate Change Research Institute, National Research Centre, Egypt and has about 30 years of experience in the atmosperic chemistry field. Her research studies different air pollutants, whether gaseous, such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, and ammonia, or solid pollutants such as particulate matter and deposited dust with different particle sizes and their sources. Her research also examines indoor pollution as well as the pollution of ambient air and the health risk assessment of human exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heavy metals. She has organized workshops and participated in national and international conferences. She has published 26 scientific articles cited in SCI and participated in national and international projects as PI.
