Salvatore DiStefanoSalvatore Distefano is an Associate Professor at University of Messina and a Professor Fellow at Kazan Federal University. He authored and co-authored more than 140 scientific papers in international journals, conferences and books. He took part to ntional and international projects such as Reservoir, VisionCloud, CloudWave (EU FP7) Beacon (H2020) and SMSCOM (FP7 EU ERC Advanced Grant). He is a member of several international conference committees and editorial boards, among others the IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing. Since 2001 he taught more than 30 courses on parallel and distributed systems, dependability and performance evaluation, and software engineering for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students, mentoring more than 50 students.
