We watched very little tv apart from Civilisation and Top of the Pops as my uncle, David Myerscough Jones was a set designr on this show. After dropping out of St Martin's School of Art (more fool me;( I briefly worked as a singing telegram girl before settling for a career in advertising as an art director. This took me all around the world. Shortly after moving to New Zealand, i became ill. I had a heart attack, a stroke before the doctors found a very large tumour in my heart. I lost my voice completely and was drawn to record everything in my first book, Scorpions on Toast, which is hilarious in parts.
