S K DeMarinisS.K. DeMarinis, now retired from her almost 30 years of a professional career as a chiropractor and doula, waited too long to have a baby herself. At age 50, after telling the many stories through which she persevered and survived to finally bring hoe her infant adopted daughter, she began writing this adoption adventure tale. S.K. DeMarinis was born in New York, educated in California, and settled in Southern Oregon over 35 years ago. She lives with her now 14 year old daughter and hyper yellow Labrador puppy.
