Ruthanne NopsonI was born in a mining camp in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I started first grade as a five year old because there was not enough children for kindergarten and first grade. I won a writing contest when I was in the seventh grade. I had a passion or writing stories. Now I had my own story to write.My father was a goold miner. We lived in many mining camps.
