In the city of Bremn he immersed himself in teaching English as a second language until his retirement in 2005. Intrigued by the captivating life story of Gesche Gottfried, Bremen's most enigmatic figure, he meticulously crafted a biographical/historical novel that unravels the course is her nefarious existence. Still residing in Bremen, Roy continues to sing in an a cappella quartet after more than 30 years and stays active with invigorating walks and hikes.
