Ronnie Brenner

Ronnie BrennerRonnie Brenner is a retired cognitive behavioral therapist (LCSW, BCD) who was in private practice for 24 years in her hometown of New Orleans. Prior to obtaining her MSW from Tulane University School of Social Work in 1990, she spent 18 years as theowner/director of Ronnie Brenner Fine Arts, showcasing original prints and drawings. Sharing her passion for the culinary arts, she spent several years cooking for families at Ronald McDonald House, and she continues to cultivate her love of feeding others by making dishes for family, neighbors, and friends. A passionate gardener-nicknamed "Ronnie Appleseed" by her husband for being known to wield clippers for deadheading wherever she goes-she delights in assisting friends and strangers with their gardens, and was once invited to show hers in the Garden District Association's Annual Garden Tour. During the time of her beloved husband Joe's illness and subsequent passing in 2012, Ronnie was inspired to write the majority of the poems featured in this book. She now resides near her family in Petaluma, CA. Read More Read Less
