Ron BaxleyRon Baxley, Jr. is a fantasy and science fiction author of 27 years and former educator of 15 years. He has been a part-time correspondent/reporter for the Orangeburg Times and Democrat in Orangeburg, S.C. for over three years and a part-time travel pecialist. He returned to his hometown of Barnwell, S.C. in January 2015 to be a care-giver for his mother and is the father of a fur-child, his emotional support dog, Ziggy, who is a shelter-adopted Pembroke Welsh Corgi who he has based a graphic novel on. In 2016, Ron was given the honor of a lifetime membership by the International L. Frank Baum and All Things Oz Foundation in Chittenango, New York, birthplace of L. Frank Baum, for his lifetime Ozian achievements. He has continued to be invited as a participating author to their Oz-Stravaganza festival nearly annually the past seven years and has continued to be invited annually as a special guest to the Wizard of Oz Festival-Ionia in Michigan.
