Rolando HymanRolando is a husband and a father that was born on the western Caribbean island of Jamaica. He attended the Excelsior High School but ended his high school years with no merits to show. He then went on to acquire his first Bachelor of Arts degree fro Northern Caribbean University as a mature age student. Upon completion, he immigrated to Canada two years later where he acquired a Master of Arts degree in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, Ontario. He has been actively involved in the field of mental health and addiction for the past 10 years and is currently a Canadian Certified Counselor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a doctoral student at California Southern University. He is also the owner and founder of Therapeutic Intervention Psychotherapy Services Inc that was founded in 2013. He is passionate about therapy and has written this book as a practical approach to therapy as observed in his role as a clinician and from evidence-based research.
