Rojalin SahuDr Rojalin Sahu is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at KIIT Deemed to be University. She has 10 years of teaching experience and 14 years of research experience. She has completed her M.Sc and M.Phil (Utkal Uiversity), PhD (IIT Guwahati). She is the recipient of DST young scientist travel award to present a paper at Technical University, Dresden, Germany and CONICET International Post Doctoral fellowship. Most notably, she has been qualified Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) by BARC, Mumbai. She has been the lead Investigator of a number of externally funded projects. She has successfully conducted many national and international conferences as convener. She is also a NABL trained officer for Chemical Testing Laboratories. Her basic areas of research are synthesis and characterization of new Coordination Compounds and their catalytic and biomedical applications; Metal Organic Frameworks and Covalent Organic Frameworks for different application such as drug delivery, catalysis, NLO, wastewater treatment, etc. She is the Associate Editor of Bentham Science, a Scopus and SCI journal, reviewer of many journals of RSC and Elsevier. She has published her research work in many peer reviewed journals. She is also having some patents to her credit. She is the member of nationally and internationally reputed bodies like Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Orissa Chemical Society, Pan -IIT, IANCAS, EMSI, etc. She is the recipient of many awards from different nationally and internationally acclaimed bodies. Most notably, best employee of the year award from KIIT Deemed to be University, Young researcher award by TEEKA foundation. She has delivered invited lectures in a number of national and international conferences.
