Roger Robin EkinsRoger Robin Ekins, a fifth-generation member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a professor of English and Chair of the Honors Program at Butte College in Oroville, California.A President Emeritus of the California Humanities Association, which awarded him the Charles D. Perlee Award, Dr. Ekins serves on the National Honors Advisory Committee of the University of Utah and on the editorial board of his local newspaper, the Paradise Post.
