Rodrick J LalRodrick Lal is a professional Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certificate Counsellor (CCC). In his work as a mental health and school counsellor, he has utilized a variety of psycho-social modalities to engage high school, and univesity students with a focus on supporting, racialized and international students.

He was engaged for five years as a Mental Health Consultant/Co-investigator on a large national research project ("Strength in Unity," funded by the Movember Foundation, the first of its kind in Canada), that tested interventions (Acceptance and Commitment Training and Contact-Based Empowerment) to address stigma in Asian communities, and promote inclusion into Canadian Society.
