Rod JulianRod Julian has always been interested in in history. Later in life an accidental discovery ignited an interest in Ludwig Leichhardt, the explorer. This resulted in two feature articles on Leichhardt, one being published in The Newcastle Herald Weekener magazine (5th January 2013) and the other in the Journal of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland (May, 2013). His biography of John Julian is on a much larger and challenging scale, involving patient research over two years.
