For many the constant difficulty is understanding other people and without that knowledge my reactions arebased on my priorities. This means honesty and fair play, politeness, and effort towards maximising the opportunities and diversity of the world our descendants inherit.I have been married for nearly fifty years, with a daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren whom I feel are my greatest gift, alongside our extended family and friends. My amazing dog, Pip, Great Expectations, an English Setter, is named after my mother's lifelong stuffed toy. We also have three pigs and two cattle all of whom are adorable, entertaining pets.I enjoy most outdoor activities and sport. I have very much enjoyed travel; my priority now is to give the grandchildren a taste of the opportunities available. I am a particular admirer of Lord Nelson - who demonstrated the golden rule in his treatment of others within society and his naval rale at the time. Also Charles Darwin and Winston Churchill.
