Her most recent stories take place on a Manhattan Island that was settled by Spanish Moors nstead of by Dutch Traders: Last of the Mohegans meets Arabian Nights, with a Spanish accent. Roberta retired from a 37-year career as a children's librarian in 2008. Lorr and Disorder is a return to her SF fanfic roots.
