Robert TiboltBob Tibolt grew up in Massachusetts for the first eleven years of his life, then moved to Reno. He graduated from Reno High School. He returned to New England to attend Dartmouth College where he majored in English with a concentration in literature nd creative writing. Subsequently, he attended graduate school and medical school in Texas, then moved to Oregon for internship and residency in ophthalmology. He practiced in Oregon for thirty years and retired in 2018. At that time, he and his wife Susan returned to Nevada where they now reside in Las Vegas. They have two sons, two grandchildren, and are happy to be back home in Nevada.Bob is also a mapmaker, having learned the craft at Dartmouth from Geography professor Van English, who was renowned in his field and personal cartographer to General George Marshall, US Army Chief of Staff in World War II.Bob has a studio and gallery in Las Vegas, ArtMapMaker, and made the map in this book.Bob enjoys hiking in Red Rock Canyon and riding his bike, among the many other joys of living in Las Vegas.
