Robert SwiftRobert Swift has spent nearly all of his working life as a social worker working with vulnerable children. Over the years he has made some time to write, while also helping to bring up four children, one of whom is adopted. A number of his short stores have been published and some have won prizes. He has written two books of non-fiction: The Family Business, published by the British Association of Adoption and Fostering, which is a personalised account of the adoption process published under a pseudonym, and Adopting a Child in Scotland, a handbook about adoption, published by CoramBAAF and now in its second edition.
