He is an ex-military man having spent a number of years in the army until he was medically discharged because of a serious spinal injury. He now works free-lance edtor and proof-reader. Robert has always had a keen interest in history and in particular his own family history which can be traced back many hundreds of years. This diary was copied word for word and the spelling is exactly as in the original handwritten version.
