He has worked for ABC radio and teleision as a director, producer, and executive producer before working freelance as a writer, producer, and director of documentary films. He has made feature-length films about actors Errol Flynn, Peter Finch, Rod Taylor, Jerry Lewis, rock journalist Lillian Roxon, producer Sam Spiegel, and the hundred-year history of Tarzan in film, television, and popular culture. These films have screened in international film festivals and been broadcast throughout the world.
