Rob BrownFor the past 25 years, Dr. Brown has studied the health of more than 300,000 patients. X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound studies, and MRI scans have shown him the assorted effects that disease and injury can have on human health. During this time, he has ccumulated vast experience with how toxins affect our lives: from the initial presentation of disease through recovery, or in those much less fortunate, disability or death. Dr. Brown has worked as a radiologist in both private practice and at academic centers, including NYU Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Having worked at numerous medical facilities located throughout the US, Dr. Brown has performed procedures and read imaging studies for large cities, big city suburbs including Palisades Park, NJ, smaller towns such as Walla Walla WA, and rural areas like West Plains, MO. In total, he was worked as a radiologist in 13 states, seeing first hand the varied health of our nation's population. Dr. Brown's perspective comes not only from his experience as a physician, but also from his travels around the world. From teaching medical imaging to doctors in Tanzania and observing first hand traditional healings performed by an Iban medicine man in Malaysia to discussing traditional medical treatments with Tibetan physicians, Dr. Brown has gained a global perspective on what it means to be healthy and well. While at home, Dr. Brown helps to raise and educate his two teenage children. He enjoys organic backyard farming, tending to a vegetable garden, a fruit orchard, berry patches, and a small flock of chickens. From sprouting seedlings to crop harvest and food preservation, Dr. Brown has first hand experience with the effort required and reward received in getting food from farm to table. Over the span of his varied career, Dr. Brown has written many journal articles in peer-reviewed radiology publications as well as several book chapters in the radiology literature. In addition, he has participated in the training of radiology residents and medical students over many years.
