Richard MullinRichard P. Mullin grew up in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, an industrial town in the Pittsburgh area. His father worked in structural steel, and his uncles and neighbors were nearly all blue-collar workers in local mills or the Pennsylvania Railroad. Richad earned his PhD in philosophy from Duquesne University, and taught philosophy for seven years at St. Bernard, a Benedictine college in Alabama, and for thirty years at Wheeling Jesuit University. He also taught Business Ethics in the MBA program at Wheeling Jesuit. Later he received an MA in Counseling from West Virginia University and worked in that profession as a contract counselor.
