Richard Klemm
Richard Klemm received his Dipl. -Ing and Dr-Ing degrees in communications from the Technical University of Berlin. He currently works with FGAN-FHR, a branch of the German Defence Research Establishment. His main interest is in adaptive clutter ad jammer suppression for radar, array processing for active and passive sonar, with emphasis on matched field processing for shallow water applications, and detection of moving targets by moving sensor plaforms. He has published numerous articles on various aspects of radar and sonar signal processing, and two books on space-time adaptive processing. He has been a member of the NATO AGARD AVP/RTO-SET panels and chaired various AGARD and RTO symposia. He initialised and chaired the European Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar, EUSAR'96. He received the RTO SET Excellence Award 2001 and the Clark-Griffiths Premium 2003.
