Richard JeromeRichard Jerome is a proud Mancunian, surviving exile in Yorkshire as his wonderful wife and sons were born there. He is grateful to the generations of witty and lively teenagers who amused, inspired and kept him young throughout his career in seconday, further and higher education as a teacher, senior manager and inspector. He maintains though that his best job was as a student labouring at his local sewage treatment plant where he learned far more about life than he did at university.
