Richard DoorninkRichard William Doornink was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1958, moved to Yorkton, Saskatchewan with his family in 1966, and lived there until 1969 when they moved to Toronto, Ontario. Richard received his Bachelor of Arts from York University (Atkinon College), with a major in their film and video program (with a heavy dose of French and Italian cinema) and a minor in Political Science. He has also completed the Humber School for Writers post-graduate creative writing program, as well as screenplay and script-writing workshops. He has been a book editor and book angel investor, has worked in film and video (S-VHS, 16 mm, and 35 mm formats) as credited production manager and post production coordinator, and also studied painting and photography. Richard has started up and run several successful businesses in both Canada and the US; launching his first start up at 23. He has been active in political campaigns since he was 16, and is now a full time writer. Currently splitting his time between Buffalo, New York; Venice, Florida; and Lion's Head, Ontario, Canada, Richard is finishing his second and third books. Read More Read Less
