Ricci (O M R I )Dr. Franco Ricci (O.M.R.I.) is Professor of Italian Studies at the University of Ottawa. An eclectic researcher, his numerous publications cross multiple disciplines that broadly address narratives of human experience. He has garnered much acclaim fo his recent book The Sopranos: Born Under a Bad Sign and was awarded Honorable Mention for the prestigious Marraro Prize for his book Painting with Words, Writing with Pictures by the Modern Language Association of America. He is knight commander (Commendatore) in the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy by Presidential decree.
