Reverend Josephat Chaponda BandaRev. Josephat Chaponda Banda is a Zimbabwean by birth and a Zambian by descent, born in Bindura, on the 14th of May, 1941. He is a qualified teacher by profession and an ordained Minister of United Methodist Church in Zimbabwe. After teaching and heaing primary and secondary schools, he served as a lecturer and principal of the United Theological College in Hatfield, Harare, Zimbabwe after which he served as Pastor and District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church in Murewa; Masvingo and the combined UK, Republic of Ireland and Australia - New Zealand District of the United Methodist Church. In the UK he served as a Pastor-in-charge of the North Charge and later, the Midlands Charge. He retired from itinerary ministry on the 31st of March, 2020 and is currently residing in Birmingham, UK.
