In Bavaria, where he worked for many years as a radio author and university assistant professor, in 2007 he received the Friedrich Baur Prize of the Bavarian Academy for his literary and essayistic work. e was the author in residence for the City of Abenberg and periodically filled in for Hannes Böhringer, the department chair of art philosophy in Kassel.
