Reginald D V NixonProfessor of Psychology, Flinders University. A clinical psychologists and researcher, Dr. Nixon has been involved in the treatment and research of trauma for almost 20 years. He was the first Australian to be accredited as a CPT trainer. In recent yars he has contributed to the dissemination of evidence-based PTSD therapies for clinicians, including dissemination of CPT in routine community mental health agencies. He has been funded by national research bodies including the Australian Research Council, National Health and Medical Research Council and has received several research awards including those from the Australian Institute of Policy Science and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
