Rebecca D FousheeRebecca D. Foushee earned her PhD from Virginia Tech. For the past 24 years, she has taught courses in Developmental Psychology and the Psychology of Women and Gender at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, Fontbonne University, Washington Univerity in St. Louis, and Lindenwood University, where she currently holds the title of Professor of Psychology. Dr. Foushee has received several research and teaching awards throughout her career, including the APA Division 6 Frank A. Beach Award in 1997 and an APA Dissertation Award in 1998, the Joan Goostree Stevens Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2006, the Emerson Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2006, the Lindenwood University Professor of the Year Award in 2018, and the NCAA Roars Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020.
