Rebecca CraneRebecca Crane is an author, illustrator, and visual development artist. Her next picture book, School Spirits, written by Charlotte Gunnufson, will be published by Atheneum in 2026. Her author-illustrator debut, Barkley, was published b Walker Books Australia in 2020 and she is also the illustrator of My Very Own Space (Nobrow Press), the Daredevil Princess series by Belinda Murrell, and the Pearly and Pig series by Sue Whiting. Rebecca was born in Scotland, grew up in Australia, and spent time in Indonesia before moving back to the UK to study Illustration at Edinburgh University and Character Animation at Central St Martins in London.
