Raya TuffahaRaya Tuffaha is a young, American poet with roots in Palestine, Jordan, and Syria. A musician and activist, she's currently a student at Swarthmore College, a Muslim, and queer. A firm believer in artistic liberation and healing through community, sh hopes To All the Yellow Flowers might act as a mirror for others with complicated identities. Tuffaha most recently published a series in Voices, a Swarthmore literary newsletter. In 2019, she helped make Seattle history, placing Team Seattle third internationally during the Brave New Voices tournament. When not busy writing, Tuffaha enjoys singing everything from rock to opera, switching languages mid-sentence, and speaking about herself in the third person.
