Ray HaffeyRay Haffey was born in Regensburg, Germany September 4, 1947. His father, Joe, was serving in the Air Force during and after WWII. His mother, Audrey, was a war bride from England. They moved Joseph Raymond to Anaconda, MT when he was 6 weeks old. Ra attended St. Paul's Grade School and Anaconda Central High School and participated in local sports. After graduation from Eastern Montana College, he began teaching in 1969 in Roundup, Montana. In 1973, Ray was hired by Anaconda High School to teach US History/Government as well as start a gymnastic program. After acquiring a Master's Degree in counseling, he gained further endorsements in special education and school psychology. He was honored to receive the Who's Who teaching award at Anaconda High School and the Montana School Psychologist of the Year award in 2005. He also received the Anaconda Good Neighbor Award in 2002. In addition to spending time with family, other favorite leisure activities include fishing, hunting, and golf. Read More Read Less
