Raso HultgrenRaso grew up on the western edge of the North American continent where ocean tides, ancient forest and high alpine wilderness became her lifetime teachers. From an early age she was drawn to an ecstatic and expressive path, which was tempered and enhnced by the disciplines of Aikido and a committed path of meditation. Her other works include Winds of Silence, a companion volume of poetry; Alaya, Songs for Earth and Sky, an offering of music; and Voice, a multimedia play exploring effects of the McCarthy era in the United States from a child's perspective. Raso lives in western Montana, where she tends with her partner an area of forested land, teaches Aikido, plays music and continues walking the pathless path of meditation and love.
