Randy Komisar

Randy Komisar is a venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, with decades of experience with start-ups. He is the author of the bestselling The Monk and the Riddle, and the coauthor of Getting to Plan B/i>. He was also a cofounder of Claris, served as CEO for LucasArts Entertainment and Crystal Dynamics, and acted as a virtual CEO for such companies as TiVo, WebTV and GlobalGiving. He also served as CFO of GO Corporation and as senior counsel for Apple Computer, following a private practice in technology law. He lives in Silicon Valley.
