Ramakant SamantarayRamakanta Samantaray, born 1972, has studied painting and Odia Literature and Language from Bibhuti Kanungo Collage of Art and craft, Bhubaneswar, and Utkal University, respectively. Apart from being a painter, he has also published fifteen books. Hehas written and published articles on art, artist and monographs in Odia. He is a recipient of many awards for his short stories and novels. He has also received the Senior Fellowship, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Junior Research Fellowship from UGC, New Delhi. He has participated in many national level group shows, artist camps, conclaves and seminars.
