Rachel L SandersRachel L. Sanders grew up in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest of seven children. She holds an Associate of Science in criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Indiana University. She is an ordained minister, and the founder of nonprofit women's ministry organization Woman2Woman. The inspiration for Rachel's writing was her mother, who suddenly passed away from a brain aneurysm the day after Christmas when Rachel was 14 years old. She would always tell Rachel to write, especially when she couldn't find the words to express herself. She believed Rachel's writing was a gift from God and encouraged her to explore her creative side. Rachel followed her dream, and has written two other books: And HE is My Source, and co-author of The Apple Doesn't Fall Far. Rachel has been married for 31 years to retired U.S. Army First Sergeant Alonzo Sanders Sr., and together they have two children, Ke'ara Sanders and Alonzo Sanders Jr. Read More Read Less
