Rachel G CarringtonRachel G. Carrington, a transplanted Kentuckian, is a widow, mother of seven and grandmother to three generations. Included with her many other interests, she spends much of her time writing and reading. As well as her childhood home in southern Kentcky, she has lived in Hamilton, Ohio and on their family farm in Somerville, Ohio. During her retirement years, Rachel and husband Brad spent six months of each year in Hawaii. Most of The Early Years was written in Waikiki after the death of her husband.
