His current book projects within that realm include "Mystery & History in Georgia, Volume I" (2022) & II; "Old Mills in the Georgia Hills"; "Georgia Backroads Traveler 2022;" "Georgia's Doc Holliday: A Study in Survival;" "After All That We've Been Through;" and "Whippoorwill Hill."Olin is a decorated veteran of the United States Army where he served on the security detail for the Army Commander of NATO from 1972-1975.
