He is a contributing editor and the technlogy editor for American Lutherie, the journal of the Guild of American Luthiers, and has written over sixty articles on guitar construction and related topics. R.M. is the editor of the Savart Journal, the online research journal of science and technology of stringed musical instruments, and has written a number of research articles on topics of geometry, acoustics, and psychoacoustics of stringed musical instruments.
