R Lynn SaulsRichard Lynn Sauls was born January 11, 1933, in a peanut-farm cottage thirty miles from Plains, Georgia, and lived in various places in the South, graduating from Fayetteville, North Carolina, High School. He holds degrees in English, journalism, an religion.He had a forty-three-year career in education as an elementary and secondary teacher and principal before teaching literature, creative writing, and journalism at several colleges and universities, including Atlantic Union College, Andrews University, and Southern Adventist University. He was writing teacher of many writers and editors, including columnist and book-writer Andy Nash and editor of Adventist Review Bill Knott.Lynn is a member of the College Seventh-day Adventist Church in South Lancaster, Massachusetts.
