Raised in a family where learning was valued and encouraged, Elizabeth learned to love words, stories, and the workings of her imagination a an early age. Her writing is often inspired by events and experiences in her life.

Having worked closely with children of varying age groups, as well as with children facing challenges, Elizabeth has learned there is always something a child can teach you.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies, a career in banking brought Elizabeth new opportunities to learn, new skills to master, and new goals to set. She embraced every role, building knowledge and strong relationships.
