R David RosinR. David Rosin was born in Southern Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, where he was educated at St George's College. His father was a surgeon and his mother the only woman MP who became leader of the opposition after Ian Smith's declaration of UDI. He studied mdicine in England and worked as a ship's surgeon, travelling the world. During his postgraduate surgical training, he worked in Hong Kong and the USA before becoming a consultant surgeon in London. He has operated in more than twenty countries.
