Pratik YadavDr. Pratik Yadav has completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry from Hansraj College, University of Delhi. He earned his master’s and Ph.D. in Chemistry with organic chemistry specialization from the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi. In his PD, he worked on the synthesis of aromatic and heteroaromatic scaffolds using ketene dithioacetals and 2-pyranones under the supervision of Prof. Ramendra Pratap. He was awarded DAAD fellowship by DAAD, Bonn in 2015 to work in the area of decarboxylative cross-coupling and C-H activation reaction at Technical University Kaiserslautern, Germany in the research group of Prof. Dr. Lukas J. Goossen. He worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi from 2017-2021. Currently, He is working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Long Island University, Brooklyn, USA in the area of design and synthesis of Boron-based small molecular probes and therapeutics (including kinase inhibitors and synthetic retinoids). His research involves modern and catalytic functionalization methods to synthesize small drug like molecules and their chemical biology. Until now, he has published more than 20 research papers in various international Journals. Read More Read Less
