Prakash Trivedi"Prakash Trivedi is credited as being the first to write Diaspora literature in Gujarati with his now six published novels: Jackson Symphony (1983), Seemanu Aakash(1986), Varso (1989), Saptapadi (1995), Amrutputra (2016) and finally Shashwatinu Swapn(2021). Amrutputra was translated and published as Scion of Immortality (2018). He also wrote 'Karenge ya Marenge' a three act play. Prakash has co-authored a book on plastics PVC Technology (1994) and recently Specialty Thermoplastics (2023). Prakash has won Gujarat Sahitya Academy award for Jackson symphony and was honoured with Smt. Gangaben Patel Award for his contribution to literature in 2019.Prakash is a scientist by profession with Ph. D. in Polymer Science from Institute of Polymer Science, The University of Akron, Ohio, USA. He lived in Akron for about 9 years and has been a research scientist with various organizations in his capacity as a scientist and a director in India.
