Pinar Mert CuceDr. Pinar Mert Cuce is Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, in Turkey. With 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and management, she has worked on everal scientific projects funded notably by the EU, TSB, DECC, EPSRC, British Council, TUBITAK, and international commercial companies. Her main areas of research are low/zero carbon technologies for buildings, innovative heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems solar thermal and hybrid PV/T systems, energy-efficient greenhouse systems, thermal superinsulation materials, nano coating and nano paint solutions, innovative windows, smart and thin film PV glazing, thermal comfort, thermal energy storage, enhanced heat transfer, advanced thermodynamics, and applied mathematics.
