Pietro RussoPietro Russo was born in Catania, where he lives. He teaches Italian to foreigners at a school. He is interested in contemporary poetry and has written essays on Vittorio Sereni, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Milo De Angelis. He collaborates with literarynewspapers, magazines, websites and blogs. He is also responsible for the cultural activities of the Dante Alighieri Society (Catania Committee). So far he has published two books of poetry: A questa vertigine (2016), which won the "Violani Landi Prize" for First Work, and a collection in Sicilian dialect Eppuru i stiddi fanu scrusciu (2022).
