Phoenix AlexanderPhoenix is a queer, Greek-Cypriot writer and curator of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. His work has appeared in publications including The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Escape Pod, The Deadlands, and ScienceFiction Studies, and others. He is a full member of the Science Fiction Writers Association (SFWA) and Horror Writers Association (HWA) and served as a judge for the Arthur C. Clarke Award for 2021 and 2022. A fashion designer by training, he completed his Ph.D. at Yale University, and in his day job serves as the Jay Kay and Doris Klein Librarian for Science Fiction and Fantasy at the University of California, Riverside, where he curates one of the world's largest catalogued collections of science fiction.
