Philip C SossouPhilip C. Sossou was very fascinated with nature at an early age. He holds a master's degree in African literature from the University of Lomé. In grad school, he led research about African means of transmitting cultural values from one generation toanother. In his early academic life, Philip was influenced by famous African authors like Chinua Achebe, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, and Ayi Kwei Armah. Later in life, he embraced well-known American writers: Helen Keller, Poul Anderson, and Henry James. From them he learned the art of creating images with words. To help nourish his student's desire about literature, he wrote a very dynamic critique on Daisy Miller, written by Henry James.
