Peter DanbyBorn in 1956, Peter Danby grew up in the countryside of North Devon before heading off to see the world. He spent 14 years in the British Army rising to the rank of major before leaving to set up his own company providing leadership development for oganisations around the world. Inspired by his grandmother, he became a healer and began to study at a mystical school. He set up a charity called Small Acts of Kindness to take his leadership work to young people effected by poverty and conflict and he runs programmes in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Rwanda. His poetry has become a way of making sense of his own experiences, of life and the world around us. Peter, now lives in Kent with his wife Rosy and near to his two children and granddaughter.
