Perparim KapllaniPërparim Kapllani was born in Elbasan, Albania. He joined military school before going on to study literature and Albanian at the University of Tirana. In Albania he wrote drama and worked as a journalist. He came to Canada in 2000 and began to put t paper his many untold stories. Struggling to find a job, he worked in several pizza parlours in Toronto, where he lives now, before finally opening his own.
